i’m so nervous. my goodness.
See the whole thing is a world full of rucksack wanderers, Dharma Bums refusing to subscribe to the general demand that they consume production and therefore have to work for the privilege of consuming, all that crap they didn’t really want anyway such as refrigerators, TV sets, cars, and general junk you finally always see a week later in the garbage anyway, all of them imprisoned in a system of work, produce, consume, work, produce, consume, I see a vision of a great rucksack revolution thousands or even millions of young Americans wandering around with rucksacks, going up to mountains to pray, making children laugh and old men glad, making young girls happy and old girls happier, all of ‘em Zen Lunatics who go about writing poems that happen to appear in their heads for no reason and also by being kind and also by strange unexpected acts keep giving visions of eternal freedom to everybody and to all living creatures.
Did this 2x today on top of my morning drink of a bunch of healthy minerals/nutrients.
I was inspired by this Turmeric Cocktail (http://www.youngandraw.com/reduce-inflammation-with-a-turmeric-cocktail/), which is said to help reduce inflammation; it’s basically just turmeric and coconut water. However, I added MSM (I can’t explain how amazing this stuff is, although it tastes ridiculously bad so mix you have to mix it with something other than just water), cinnamon, and honey to mine.
I probably sound like such a weirdo, but seriously holistic approaches have worked out so much better for me than any over the counter/prescription drug ever has.
I’m really hoping that my foot + leg are better by Saturday.
time is so depressing, it’s so limiting

they don’t love you like I love you.
So…. I got off work at noon today which was soooo nice. I went over to Brooklyn and picked up my bib. I stayed for a beer (see photo below ;)) but felt odd drinking by myself so early in the day hahah. From there I went back into the city where I was going to meet Olivia at the gym but of course like usual we ended up going to Buffalo instead (I got a pair of boots and a button down, YES). I saw my acupuncturists after this (which guys I highly suggest looking into for all sorts of reasons, ie. stress/pains/hormones, I’ve only been going once a week for 5 weeks and I feel like my mind is at ease, I’m handling “stressful” situations better); she gave me some things for my leg so I’m hoping it feels better soon :) I was happy about that so I went to Lulu Lemon (I’m so disappointed in myself for this haha for a couple of reasons) where I spent a ridiculous amount on leggings, socks, and a headband for the race.
xx
